Terms & conditions

There are 10 prizes of 2 places on a cookery course including an overnight stay. Cookery course locations are selected at the promoter’s discretion. The prizes will only be awarded directly to the winners unless otherwise agreed in writing with the promoter.

There are 33 goody bags to be won for recipe of the week winners – 1 per week for the duration of the competition from 02/05/08 to 18/12/08. The recipe of the week winner will be the recipe that has received the highest number of recommendations that week. The cut off point for recipe of the week will be every Thursday @ 5.30pm. You can only win recipe of the week once regardless of the overall number of recommendations you may have accumulated. Weekly winners will be notified by telephone or email.

The 10 overall prize winners will be drawn at random under independent supervision from the 26 recipe of the week winners w/c 22/12/08.  The winners will be notified within 28 days of the closing date by telephone.

The last date for receipt of entries is 18/12/08.

The competition is open to all UK, Channel Islands, Republic of Ireland and Isle of Man residents, except employees and their families of Dr. Oetker (UK) Ltd., or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.

Entrants under 16 years of age require the permission of a parent or guardian to enter. By entering, participants warrant that they have obtained permission of a parent or guardian. If selected as an overall prize winner, entrants under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

By entering, participants warrant that the recipes they submit are their own original work and have not been copied in whole or in part from any published source.

The names and counties of the winners will be made available after 05/01/09 by sending a S.A.E. to Winners List, Dr Oetker Bake Map, PO Box 9070, Nottingham, NG1 9BW.

There is no cash alternative in whole or in part.

Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.

By entering this competition you are agreeing that Dr. Oetker (UK) Ltd has the right to use your recipe in any future marketing activities or promotions whatsoever in any territories and without time limit and without any further compensation over and above the award of the prizes.

No correspondence will be entered into.

Winners may be required to participate in related publicity.

Entry is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions and the Promoter's decision in all matters is final.
