Ingredients
- 150g self raising flour, 50g cocoa powder, 50 g butter, 50g chocolate chips, 25g caster sugar,
- 125 ml milk, icing sugar for dusting
Crumbly Chocolate Chip Scones with Strawberries and Clotted Cream
This recipe is simple to make and is delicious serve warm with fresh strawberries and clotted cream. It is great to serve with afternoon tea.

Method
1.Sift flour and cocoa into a bowl or a food mixer.2.Rub in butter finely.
3.Add sugar and chocolate chips
4.Add milk all at once. Mix to a soft dough.
5.Turn out onto a floured board. Roll out to 2.5 cm thickness. Cut into 8 rounds using a 6 cm biscuit cutter.
6.Transfer on to a baking tray. Bake in a hot oven Gas 8 or 230C for 7 to 10 muinutes.
7. Cool on a wire rack.
8.Serve warm with butter, fresh strawberries and clotted cream.
